Paul has been Executive Director of the AEDC since March of 2011. Paul is a retired Plant Manager of a local food production plant employing 150 people and doing 100+ million pounds of product annually. Paul has lived in Amery since 1984.
Paul retired from Land O’Lakes/ afp Advanced Food Products in January of 2011. He worked in that Aseptic food plant for 26 years, the last 25 as Plant Manager. Paul has a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. However, he never taught school. He worked all his life in the food business with companies like Green Giant, Miller Brewing, Grande Cheese, Land O’Lakes and AFP, which is a joint venture of Land O’Lakes and Bongrain, a French company.
Paul and his wife, Diane, have lived in Amery since 1984. Their daughters have gone through the wonderful Amery School system and their 9 grandchildren have either attended or currently attend the schools on the Amery campus.
Amery is a wonderful place to live, play and raise a family. Paul began working for the AEDC in March of 2011. He reports to both the Boards of the AEDC and the Community Club. Paul enjoys working for people who have such a high level of interest in seeing Amery grow and prosper. In his spare time, Paul enjoys camping, ATV riding, golf, the Packers and traveling.
